When people are asked to select one of the statements in a scale (3.1.111.2)(3.1.111.3) as most closely describing the level of functionality (3.1.56) required, or as best describing which physical features (3.1.42) are present in a facility (3.1.37), the scale, in effect, functions as a multiple choice questionnaire.
