In order to encompass all of the seven factor classes (3.1.39) of the factor method (3.1.40), this definition has been extended relative to that given in ISO 15686-2:2001, 3.3.5, thus being in accordance with ISO 15686-1:2000, 3.1.2, where “in-use condition” is referred to as influencing any of the seven factors.
