coefficient that describes the amount of a specific GHG (3.6.15) that is released from doing a certain activity, such as burning one tonne of fuel in a furnace

In general, greenhouse gas emission coefficients from specific energy consumption are quantified based on GHG emission factors for use of the energy.

Greenhouse gas emission coefficients can differ by year.
