Uncertainty can include, for example: —

parameter uncertainty, e.g. GHG emission factors (3.1.2.7), activity data;

scenario uncertainty, e.g. use stage scenario, end-of-life stage scenario;

—

model uncertainty.

Note 2

Uncertainty information typically specifies quantitative estimates of the likely dispersion of values and a qualitative description of the likely causes of the dispersion.
