water which has been previously used and is then subsequently used for beneficial purposes with or without treatment prior to the subsequent use

The terms “recycled water” is often used as a synonym for “reclaimed water (3.63)” or “reuse water (3.63)”; however, the latter two terms refer to water that has been treated, whereas “water recycling” refers to using water again for beneficial purposes with or without treatment.
